Wedding Album Blog
Are you wondering whether or not you should get a wedding album when you book your wedding photographer?. If so then read on.
One of the best things of being a wedding photographer is handing over a stunning wedding album to a bride and groom. Pictures look great on a computer screen but nothing compares to seeing them printed on a beautifully crafted album that you can hold In your hands. My albums are of a very high quality and are made by one of the best labs In the country. I have had a number of brides burst into tears of happiness after seeing their album for the first time. And that is after they have already seen all their pictures. It’s just seeing them In a beautiful album has a massive impact.
There seems to be a growing number of people who are happy with disk only wedding packages. I think that the reason for this is to keep costs down and also that some people are happy just looking at their wedding pictures on a computer screen or TV. There is nothing wrong with that but I have put this blog together to show you why It is worth while pushing the boat out and getting a wedding album. Modern wedding albums are a million miles ahead of what our parents and grandparents used to get. Gone are the days of prints whch are slid into a cardboard frame. Modern albums have the pictures printed directly onto the page which makes the album look more like a glossy well produced magazine than a traditional wedding album.
There is a almost limitless variety of different styles of weddings albums, covers, print finishes and paper types. To make things easy for the bride and groom I have a standard album style that I use. After extensive research I have settled on the bellisssimo classico album style. These stunning albums have lay flat pages made card instead of paper. This means the pages don’t bend, can’t get folded or creased and have a high quality feel. There are a few different page finish options like Lustre, Metallic, Art Watercolour, Art Watercolour Ivory, Pearlescent and Oyster Pearlescent. You can also choose from different cover types like Acrylic, Alumini, Brushed Aluminium, Image Wrap, Leather, Leatherette, Linen and Photo-cover.
Here is some examples of my sample albums. This album has the acrylic cover which looks fantastic.
This one has a real leather cover which looks, smells and feels amazing. Real leather cost extra over the acrylic cover. You can have the leatherette for the same price though.
Hopefully after reading this, anyone who was unsure whether or not they were going to get an album will hopefully know what to do. I promise you you will not regret It.
