Photography Glasgow: My Background
My name is Mark Anderson and I have been working full time as a professional photographer for over ten years now. I have been extremely lucky in my career. My background is in press photography which means that I have covered everything from news and sports to features, fashion, and celebrities.
From a young age, I knew that I had a talent. My career really kicked off when I was runner up for “Young Photographer of the Year” at the Scottish Press Photography Awards 2006. One year later I was given an award for “Celebrity Picture of the Year 2007”.
I have travelled far and wide to peruse my passion, working across the UK and beyond. This has been a great platform for my career and since then I have had work published in newspapers, magazines, and websites all over the world
Wedding Photography Glasgow
It is this experience that I use when covering my clients’ weddings. When you book my photography services you have a first class set of pictures at the end of it. No matter what season, time or location, I would love to find out more about your big day. This means even if it’s dark, raining and blowing a gale, I will still get a quality set of pictures.
“Mark photographed our Wedding in July. He was extremely professional, didn’t intrude on our day and took beautiful photographs. We’re so pleased with the resulting images.”

The thing I love the most bout my role as a wedding photographer is meeting and working with new people. On your wedding day, you will spend a great deal of your time with your wedding photographer, one of the main reasons why it is so important to choose the right one.
I would be more than happy to meet up with you and your future Mrs/Mr beforehand to have a chat about what you would like for your wedding day photography. I would also be happy to share with you my testimonials and previous examples of my work,
“From our first meeting with Mark to discuss photos, to our wedding day, to collecting our album Mark was amazing! Everyone at our wedding commented on how hard he worked and WOW the final photos proved that!”
Cherly Smith, Feb 28th, 2016
I always suggest that I meet with both the bride and groom before their big day as we can get to know one another and figure out what type of photography is best for you.
I always recommend to my clients that they take a look at some examples of my work before we meet. Why don’t you have a look through my blog section for some inspiration?
Once Your Wedding Photography Is Printed
I would describe my style of photography as authentic. I like to stay out of the studio when I am taking photos of my clients, capturing them in the most natural way.
On your wedding day, I would encourage you to capture your photos wherever you feel most comfortable, whether that be at a beach, park or scenic area of your wedding venue.
I have been taking photos as a passion for over 15 years and I love to collect memories of my own. There are lots of ways we can store your memories, whether that be through a classic leather album that is customised for you and your loved one or a selection of bespoke picture frames that can be displayed in your home for years to come.
